Ancora Insurance is a family owned business of Brazilian origin. Our main goal is to provide the best services in the insurance business to South Florida and Central Florida Customers.
Felipe started working in the insurance business when he was still a teenager, at the age of 14 in 1993, as an office assistant at Insurance Kingdom, Inc. where his father, Jair Costa, worked as an insurance sales agent.
In 1995, with some experience in the insurance business, Felipe helped in the establishment of Ancora Insurance Agent, Inc. Two years later, he became one of the youngest licensed agents in the State of Florida.
In 1999 Felipe was promoted to General Manager Assistant. During that time he worked in all areas of the insurance business such as processor, document filer, vehicle inspector, underwriter and, among other things, maintained contact with the insurance companies represented by Ancora.
In 2002, as his father decided to take a break from the day-to-day operation of the business, Felipe became a stock holder in the company and was promoted to General Manager. He implemented new administrative procedures and modernized the company so that they could have access to the best insurance companies in the market, which consequently resulted in better products as well as better customer service.
In August 2008, Felipe became a Life and Health Insurance licensed agent, which allowed Ancora to offer these types of insurance to the general public.
Today, with 16 years of experience in the insurance business, Felipe is directly responsible for the success and growth of Ancora Insurance. He continues to help people who need information about any type of insurance with the same kindness and cordiality.
JANILDES (JANE) COSTA
Jane started working in the insurance business when Ancora Insurance was established in 1995.
Since then she has worked in all areas in the company.
She gained enough knowledge and experience to contribute in a decisive way with her business partner and son, Felipe Costa, towards the new growth and modernization plan that started to be implemented in the company in 2002.
When her husband, Mr. Costa, decided to step down from management, Jane was promoted to the position of Administrative and Financial Manager without, however, neglecting the coordination and supervision of services related to the technical and commercial areas of the company.
